Sten x Lex Limited Edition Box & Catalogue Preview



Italian based street art duo Sten & Lex are known for their wonderful, huge murals often of portraits of Lex herself, as well as historical and religious figures like Mother Teresa, Pope Benedict ii, Van Gogh, Eisenhower etc. Sten & Lex’s style is defined by the dotted blow up of black and white photocopied images mixed with stencils. Sten and Lex have been exhibited widely across Europe.

For this occasion, a catalogue and a limited edition box will be published by DRAGO with critic texts by Maria Letizia Bixio, Davide Giannella e Gianluca Marziani.

"Im Here"- A Film by Spike Jones Showing Online



Preview through a short trailer in late December followed by a book release in early January, the highly anticipated film "Im Here" by Spike Jones is now showing online in collaboration with Absolut Vodka. The movie is set in contemporary L.A., where life moves at a seemingly regular pace with the exception of a certain amount of robot residents who live among the population. A male robot librarian lives a solitary and methodical life - devoid of creativity, joy and passion - until he meets an adventurous and free spirited female robot. Vane x Sebago Spring/Summer 2010 "Future Heritage" Footwear Collection



Definitely some of the best designed footwear we've seen thus far, New York based Vane teams up with Sebago for the "Future Heritage" collection. Re-working Sebago's classic and iconic Dockside, two hi top models are seen in both dark Navy/White and a two-toned grey colorway. Paying close attention to the detailing we see some nice stitching on the toe box and the heel area, tag logo's on the ankle area and premium materials which include the coveted 3M Reflective fabric. A Lo cut model is also seen in a lighter shade of grey with a clean all white outsole. The release is expected for early April with select retailers catching the first batch including CommonWealth.

David James "Out of Print" Digital Exhibition



"Out of Print" is a entirely web based digital exhibition by acclaimed creative director David James. He explores the changing nature of fashion advertising and imagery over the last 20 years, including his 14 years at Prada. The exhibition begins with work from 1988 and features award-winning record sleeves by the likes of Soul II Soul which then leads up to his work for clients like Prada, Christian Dior and Alexander McQueen as well as AnOther Man and AnOther magazine. It ends with the Yang Fudong film for S/S 10 menswear recently debuted on Prada.com's website acting as the only piece of video to leave an open-ended conclusion on the timeline. Accompanying commentary from James also runs alongside the exhibition to give further insight into the makings of these images. You can view the ongoing event here which runs until May 1st, 2010.
